Pacific Gateway, Middlesex County, and Lancaster County present on Virtual Career Services at NAWB Forum 2019

Nick Schultz, Executive Director of Pacific Gateway (CA), led the "Best Practices: High-Impact Community Engagement through Virtual Services" workshop at NAWB's Forum 2019 on Sunday, March 24, 2019. Kevin J. Kurdziel, Director of County of Middlesex Workforce Development Board (NJ), and Cathy Rychalsky, Executive Director of Lancaster County Workforce Development Board (PA), talked about their current "SkillUpAmerica®" community-wide programs. Statistics showed thousands of residents taking advantage of the programs with costs around $7-$8 per participant. The directors emphasized marketing and community engagement as essential to their success. Erick Serrato, Deputy Director of Pacific Gateway (CA), spoke about their plans for implementing a "SkillUpAmerica®" program in conjunction with their "Strengthening Working Families Initiative."
